Art and Craftbeer together! Bellwoods and “Surfacing” Exhibition..

As you may or may not know I enjoy craft beer. Last summer I was a taste tester for Bellwoods Brewery in Toronto. You can read about my experience here: http://heatherhortonartwork.blogspot.ca/2012/04/courageous-liquid-bellwoods-brewery.html

I believe their beer is some of the best in Canada that I have tried. If you are in Toronto, make a point to stop in. Recently I asked the brewery if they might consider offering their delicious craft beer at my upcoming painting exhibition “Surfacing”. They agreed! I am elated to have them be a part of my exhibition. From hoppy DIPAs, IPAs, Berliner Weisses, dubbels, tripels, Russian Imperial Stouts and tangy saisons, these guys know beer. So come on out on November 3 from 2-5pm at Abbozzo Gallery for the opening to sip some amazing beer and see my paintings that have been assembled from the past year and a half. Cheers!

New available painting! “Self-Portrait(temple)”, oil on panel, 11″x14″.

“I have dreamed in my life, dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas; they have gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the colour of my mind.” ~Emily Bronte

This painting is a part of my upcoming exhibition “Surfacing” at Abbozzo Gallery.
