Hello! I have a few new paintings up on display at Baked Café here in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. The show is up from February 7-mid March, 2014. Would love it if you could stop in and see the works!
Have a beautiful day!
Below: “Mia, Millennium Trail”, oil on canvas, 24″x18″, available.
A painting commission recently completed. The original reference was shot on the China/Tibet border. This was one of the most complex paintings I have ever done. But challenges make us stronger.
“Prayer Flags”, oil on canvas, 24″x36, private collection, Fairbanks, Alaska
“Wheaton River Cranberry Jam”, 2013, oil on canvas, 3″x5″, sold, private collection.
I picked these cranberries myself along the Annie Lake Road here in Whitehorse last fall.
Made this jam myself from scratch. Sounds like a minor affair but it was quite a coup. Delicious too!
A portrait of my friend Mia who came up from Toronto in autumn of 2013 to visit. She fell in love with The Yukon…and who wouldn’t?
“Mia, Millennium Trail”, oil on canvas, 24″x18″, private collection, Toronto, Ontario
“Frozen Rose Hips”, 2013, oil on panel, 6″x6″, sold, private collection.
When the first real cold snap hit Whitehorse last fall and the temperature dipped to -30 C the rose bushes around my cottage froze sold, including these rose hips from last year.
